Suddenly, it seems like every company has a Twitter account. In the summer of 2008, Twitter started to spread to Germany.

Despite the fact that most new web technology is named in English, the German language is adapting rapidly to describe the new world of social media.

The figures leave no doubt: in 2010, Germany is going full speed ahead into social media.
