Germany and Mexico: Did you know?!

1. Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal (The Motorcycle Diaries) was one of seven members of the Jury at the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival this year.

2. Around 7000 Mexicans live in Germany.

3. Around 15.000 Germans live in Mexico.

4. There are three Mexicans playing in the Bundesliga. VFB Stuttgart’s Pavel Pardo and Ricardo Osorio, as well as new Eintracht Frankfurt signing Aarón Galindo.
 
5. Germany was Mexico’s fourth biggest trade partner in 2006.

6. The new VW Beetle is assembled at the VW Pubela factory in Mexico.
